As an academic teaching hospital of the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, the Marien Hospital offers a wide range of medical and nursing care for the people in the northern Emsland and southern East Frisia in eleven main departments and two inpatient departments. We are a hospital providing basic and standard care. With our approximately 1000 employees, we care for approximately 12,000 inpatients and 55,000 outpatients annually in a family atmosphere. For comprehensive diagnostics and treatment, the individual specialist departments, medical care centers (MVZ) and facilities work together on an interdisciplinary basis and use their expertise for the benefit of the patients in accordance with our motto "connected to people". Marien Hospital is a facility of the St. Bonifatius Hospitalgesellschaft, which includes a total of four hospitals under church sponsorship, a large central hospital pharmacy, two educational institutions for healthcare professions, elderly care and rehabilitation facilities, and several medical care centers. As the largest provider of healthcare services in the northwest, the network employs a total of around 3,500 people.
